We come to you to meet in person and discuss your objectives in creating or updating your website. This ensures that before any work is done the project flows in the right direction, with a quicker turnaround.
Topics generally discussed in this initial meeting include: the end goal and purpose of the website, the target audience, the scope and budget of the project, design options and preferences, company history and future projections. t this point our designers create wireframes based on the outcome of the meeting. Wireframes are basic page outlines demonstrating general layout without colour, images or design of any kind. Instead, you see general structure - such as the size and position of page elements (page headings, navigation, content blocks, and footer). The goal of the wireframe is to help determine which parts of the design receive priority and emphasis, and to agree on a general layout concept.
Once the wireframes are approved, branding, colour, graphics, typography and other design elements are added. This precedes any coding, and is presented as a flat image of each page.
Upon approval of the design, the site is then hand-coded using strict XHTML and CSS markup.
